Having led more than 100 weddings as Owner of Wedding Belles, I have counseled more than a few brides and grooms on the same concerns. There are three fears that I see in almost every couple and they have become my Top 3 Wedding Woes.

#1 – How am I going to juggle my thriving career and busy schedule with the demands of wedding planning? Something has got to give…

#2 – There are far too many cooks in this kitchen – it seems that everyone and their mother has an opinion about our wedding and we don’t know who to listen to.

#3 – How do we know who and what to prioritize when it comes to booking vendors? Everything we read tells us something different and we don’t have any idea where to start.

Stick with me for the next few weeks and we will work our way through these wedding woes together!

So let’s start with the elephant in the room – wedding planning is a full time job. Which makes things difficult because you already have a full time job. In fact, your job is more than full time because our current culture is that everyone works 50-60 hours a week and that is totally normal. (We can talk about that not being normal at a later date…) So how on earth are you supposed to first learn how to plan a wedding, then plan the wedding, which includes attending venue tours, vendor meetings, reviewing contracts and proposals, and attempt to enjoy being engaged throughout the planning process? The answer is, you are not expected to become a wedding planning expert. You can still be an integral part of planning your wedding, without needing to manage every aspect along the way. The solution to your problem is to hire a wedding planner.

A wedding planner is the expert you need by your side while you are planning your dream wedding. We are here to make this process seamless, exciting, and yes, even enjoyable! Even the most type-A bride does not have an extra 2-3 hours a day to devote to wedding planning. That’s where your planner steps in.

When reaching out to planners, it is helpful to have a few answers in mind. A planner will want to know if you have a date or time of year in mind, how many guests you anticipate inviting, and what your budget is. Knowing answers or at least estimates for each of these will help you to not feel overwhelmed in your initial conversations with potential planners.

We guide you step-by-step through the wedding planning experience as we…

  • manage contact with your venue and all of your vendors
  • schedule meetings and appointments based on your busy work schedule
  • and allow you to enjoy being engaged.

We provide you with the peace of mind you are looking for as you prepare for the perfect weekend surrounded by the love of your family and friends.
