Annie and Jeremy are celebrating their second anniversary this week, so we wanted to look back on their beautiful and fun Ponce City Market rooftop wedding! While you may have enjoyed views of the downtown and Midtown skyline from Skyline Park, did you know just on the other side of the roof there is a Rooftop Terrace space to rent for weddings and events? This proved to be the perfect location for Annie and Jeremy as they shared their love of Atlanta with all of their family and friends.

Tulip created an elegant and loosely bound bouquet for Annie, featuring white blooms accented by silvery blue succulents, blue thistle, and seasonal greenery. It perfectly fit the couple’s romantic and natural design aesthetic.

The Midtown skyline provided a picture perfect backdrop for the couple’s first look. One of our favorite parts of the wedding day is the look on the groom’s face when he sees his beautiful bride for the first time, and Jeremy did not disappoint!

We loved how Annie let her bridesmaids’ personalities shine through by picking their own attire for the wedding. From dresses to jumpsuits, it was a fantastic collection of colors and styles. The groomsmen’s light gray suits were the perfect contrast to Jeremy’s suit, allowing him to stand out amongst these dapper gentlemen.

Annie and Jeremy’s invitation suite from Minted carried their theme of Atlanta throughout the wedding, including their ceremony programs. With a June rooftop wedding, we knew it might be a little warm for guests during the ceremony. We made double use of their ceremony programs by turning them into fans for their guests. We loved the chuppah that Tulip designed for Annie and Jeremy’s ceremony!

While it may only be nine floors up, any height rooftop can provide an unexpected gust of wind. With this in mind, the couple selected low and lush centerpieces, as well as a design enclosed in a glass cloche. Tall and elaborate centerpieces would have been a hazard if a gust of wind swept through the reception space, while low and enclosed centerpieces provided a safe and beautiful option. The three different centerpiece designs provided variation and texture to the reception space.

Annie and Jeremy wanted a variety of desserts, so in addition to their delicious four-tier cake from Cake Hag, we also had an ice cream cart filled with the couple’s favorite ice cream and popsicle treats. Who doesn’t want a Choco Taco or Red, White, and Blue Bomb Pop to cool them off on the dance floor?

From Annie and Jeremy’s first dance to the last dance of the evening, Papa Sol had guests on their feet and dancing the night away!

We loved working with Annie and Jeremy to create their beautiful wedding day. Congratulations on two years of marriage!
